One Bold Future – Inver Hills Community College & Dakota County Technical College

Dakota County Technical College (DCTC) and Inver Hills Community College (Inver Hills) are aligned institutions, sharing one president and other shared services. Located nine miles apart, DCTC offers over 50 technical programs and Inver Hills nearly 50 liberal arts and professional programs. These broad program offerings and support services complement one another and our alignment expands educational opportunities.

DCTC and Inver Hills share a mission to: Learn, discover, and build a better future. DCTC is dedicated to education for employment and life-long growth and Inver Hills is dedicated to advancing the power and promise of education.

Both institutions are members of Minnesota State, a public system of 26 community and technical colleges and seven universities with 54 campuses throughout Minnesota. Minnesota State is the third largest system of public colleges and universities in the nation.

Inver Hills Community College was founded in 1970, with the purpose of providing credits for transfer to four-year institutions and preparing students for entry into the workforce.
