Brenda Van Vossen has a passion for helping adult students achieve their educational dreams. Brenda has been at Inver Hills Community College (IHCC) for the past 14 years as a member of the Business Faculty, and served as the Prior Learning Assessment Coordinator for the past 6 years. Brenda teaches a gateway course for any adult student at IHCC who is interested in completing PLAs or desiring an Individualized Professional Studies degree, and acts in an advisory capacity for those students during their time at the college. Prior to IHCC, she taught at 2 other colleges/universities and worked for two Fortune 500 companies in various business-related functions. Brenda has also presented at the annual CAEL Conference and is a qualified CAEL Assessor. Brenda has a Finance degree from Iowa State University and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas (TX).
